This page in the documentation https://galeracluster.com/library/training/tutorials/supporting-transaction-isolation-levels.html claims that Galera prevents "lost updates" on transactions issued on different nodes of a cluster.
This claim is wrong. Find counter examples and discussion here: https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-29044
