Server timeouts after X time of not connecting.

I have a program running on my node, and at night it always shuts down or whenever I am not connected through my browser. Is there any way to have it always up?

Are you using code-server --link? Is the entire node shutting down or just code-server?

Do you see any logs from code-server?

It appears so, I am guessing it has to do with heartbeat (maybe?). Maybe it was a mechanism made for running code-server on a pc and not a dedicated computer?

It has to be highly unlikely, I guess. Have you tried sudo systemctl enable code-server@$USER? It is a background process by the way. By the way @bpmct seems to have a Pi 4, has he noticed the error anywhere?

I think terminals are shut down once the connection is closed after a short period of time. Something like 60 seconds. We could patch VS Code to persist them indefinitely.

Yes! I think that is the issue, I can test it but I am pretty sure it is 60 seconds before the timeout. If you could do that it would be great! I really appreciate it!
