Bunch of errors while trying to install

i've tried to install this wm while on kde and on fresh arch install via tty, tried both git cloning manual install and .sh auto-install file,
even tried with the AUR but that seems to just clone the git repo, all those method just ended up with the same errors.
is it because im using a VM to run Arch?

I'm having the same problem here using an Oracle Virtual Machine, have you found a fix?

There is a work around you can do. Go to releases and download the source code for 1.4 and build it yourself. I was having the same issue as you, and decided to just download a previous version and 1.4 worked as a stable release. Hope this helps
