Here's how to change the λ prompt symbol to $ in each shell. All changes should be made in the config folder — don't edit files in the vendor folder, as they will be overwritten on update.

Cmd (Clink)

1. Edit (or create): %cmder_root%\config\cmder_prompt_config.lua

2. Add or change this line:

   prompt_lambSymbol = "$"

3. Reload Clink with Ctrl+X then Ctrl+R, or restart Cmder.

2. Add the following block to define your prompt:

   PS1='\[\033[1;33m\]\w\[\033[0m\]\n\[\033[30;1m\]\$ \[\033[0m\]'

3. Restart Cmder (or open a new Bash tab).
