Dear @chunfeilung , I have created a version of your package that is compatible with pandoc. My aim was to allow a creation of a magazine using git, so the authors can push themselves branches with their articles in Markdown (which is much easier than pure Latex), thus allowing me to pull the entire tree and process using a makefile locally.

In case you are interested the download link is: https://transfer.sh/qxTnf/revista-pandoc

It uses a tool that I created to run the necessary processing: mighty_make.

Thanks for providing such a nice tool, and you can close this once you read.

The case for which bonaparticle was originally developed is a bit of a special one I guess. Virtually all of the magazine’s authors have a background in the exact sciences and are already deeply familiar with LaTeX already, which (for us) made it a decent choice.

I definitely like your idea however! I agree that Markdown is easier, which in most cases makes it a better choice than LaTeX.
