DoS and Mongoose

Hi.
In my project (based on nucleo-f429zi-cube-freertos-builtin some time ago) I accidently simulated some kind of DoS issue when created a slider in fronted which was fetching server data with very high rate. At some point Mongoose stopped responding eventually. So the question is - does Mongoose have any means for handling fllooding issues and what to expect from stack in case of too much connections? What can be general recomendations on how to build stable (in context of DoS) server on Mongoose?
