Cannot Open Cataclysn-BN Tiles on Mac OSX

Describe the bug

Cannot open the application at all.

Steps To Reproduce

Using Mac OSX Sonoma 14.5
Download 0.60 Tiles version
Move application from disk image to applications folder
attempt to run
nothing opens

are you using x86-64 or arm? wasn't able to reproduce on

OS: macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 arm64
Host: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
Kernel: Darwin 24.1.0

were there any error messages on running this command on terminal?

I just tried 0.7.0, and it didn't open at all.

I then tried to open Cataclysm.app > Contents > Resources > cataclysm-bn-tiles directly, and in the Terminal window, I see that Cataclysm is looking for sdl2_ttf installed via Homebrew. Installing that (brew install sdl2_ttf) allows me to open the game.

Not sure if this is related, but wanted to share.

it's because 0.7.0 is before the two patches that fixes macos builds. the build pipeline still fails so it needs more work tho.
