For monitoring purposes I'd like to be able to check the currently activated theme when viewing content on the site.
There are situations where the information isn't simple available in the generated HTML.

Requirement

  • Add information about the current theme to the Trace 'shutdown' status report.

Proposed solution

Change the report to generate another comment such as

<!-- Theme: twentytwentyfive
-->

Optionally include the version and the parent theme name and version.

The simplest solution was to display the theme Name, rather than slug, Version and Template (parent), if set.

<!--Theme:caravan-2025 0.1.0 twentytwentyfive
 -->

Note: In the unlikely event that the Version: isn't set in style.css there may be two blanks between the theme Name and Template.
