This is in 3.1.13 (new release from the stable branch), for @shadeslayer and @llelectronics to package up. Setting the ready-for-qa label, although I'm not quite sure of the workflow -- maybe it needs img+1 first.

Actually seeing this work requires also updating the Calamares config on the Pinebook, that is issue #131

Unassigning self: this requires an update to the Calamares package and a re-spin of the iso, with the updated Calamares configuration from 3.1.13 or 3.2. In particular, it should have preselect set to the special string "*".
