Integrating Google Analytics with Grafana

Hello all, I want to visualize my GA data using Grafana. I am trying to add the GA as the data source on Grafana but I am stuck at providing access to this data source. My question is, do I need to have a GCP project to set up the API that will give the GA data source credentials to access my analytics data? or is there another way out if I do not have a GCP project?

need a gcp project because of how Google Analytics works.

It would be possible if there was another way, but the current code is only for gcp projects.

Hi @lcc3108 I created a service account on Google Cloud, enabled the Google Analytics API and the Analytics reporting AI, added the service account to the Google Analytics, and assigned the "Analyst" role to it (I tried "viewer" as well). However, when I upload the JWT to authenticate Google Analytics as the data source in Grafana, I get this error in the attached ss. The project ID referenced in the error is not the project ID for my GCP project. Do you see anything that I am doing wrong here? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? I am getting this error when I use GA4(Beta), and when I use UA(GA3) I get the error "CheckHealth: Not Exist Valid Profile"

UA requires two api to be activated
GA requires the activation two api.

Have you activated the api of the link in GA's description?
It must be activated separately from the UA.

I had not activated Google Analytics Data API, I just did and the connection is successful. Thank you.

Any idea why when I explore, I get "required Account ID" error?

When I see the screenshot, it looks like you're using UA, so I recommend you move on to GA4.

The advice would be difficult because there are too many cases for what purpose to visualize.
