Describe the bug
Bug: Volume key adjustment and slider shows that it is muted at 6% (turns to red on GUI). The volume can still below 6% while still staying muted. This means that raising the volume again requires two volume app presses.

Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour (feel free to change the placeholder as you need):

  1. Lower volume to 0/muted
  2. Lower volume again
  3. Try to raise volume by pressing volume up
  4. See error

Expected behaviour
Volume only mutes when volume is at 0%. It should only require one keypress of volume up for some sound to occur.

Setup information:

  • Audio device used for playback: external audio interface + studio monitors
  • Audio transmission interface: 1/4 inch TRS cables
  • macOS Version: 15.2
  • eqMac Versionv 1.8.11.
  • eqMac UI Version not sure
