We have a few issue statues such as 'ready to document' and 'QA verified' etc. which are not related to scrum but for other non-backlogs projects.

Can backlogs setting provide a function can define show/hide these status in the taskboard please?

+1, exactly the same situation here. Would be a great enhancement.
imho the setting should be per-project, not plugin-wide. There are projects which need more respective less statuses

It seems we can do this without any development. Log into redmine using admin account, create a new issue status on Administration/Issue statuses page. Then go to Workflow page, edit the tracker, uncheck "Only display statuses that are used by this tracker" option and press "Save" button. Now you will see the new status, e.g. "ready to document", then select the workflow options at will.
Now login redmine using your user account, got to taskboard and see that, the new status is there waiting for you.

Below is my screenshot for testing.

Hi csfreebird,

Thanks for the suggestion. The function I really want is hide some status instead of showing all status. In ideal Backlogs can put couple redmine status into one Scrum status such as:

Scrum New (Default is New): New
Scrum In Progress (Default is In Progress): In Progress, Feedback
Scrum Completed (Default is Resolved): Resloved, Close, Rejected, Ready To Document

The default scrum status is used for drag and drop in the task board.

By this way, our task board only have 3 scrum status: New, In Progress and Completed instead of so many redmine status.

I did not find a way to support your request above. But why you think this will be ideal backlogs?
Maybe you could create a different issue about that, change title.

Hi csfreebird,

If you have a look the Scrum Task Board (http://www.mountaingoatsoftware.com/agile/scrum/task-boards), there has a few status in the task board: Story, Todo, In Progress, To Verify and Done. The problem is that we are using redmine not only for Scrum but also project management as well. So our Redmine tracker status have a lot of additional status such as In Feedback, Rejected and Ready To Document etc. But some of them are relate to the task board and some are not. And some of them are fall into one scrum task board column such as 'In Progress' and 'Feedback'.

Redmine Backlogs is fix for one status per task board column which is incorrect in our practice.

Maybe you're right, I should create a new issue for this.

Cheers,

The problem is that we are using redmine not only for Scrum but also project management as well.

We only use redmine backlogs to manage all projects in company. So I did not realize your problem before.

My status settings look like so:
