I think time to to wrap using the parameters of api version.
in 1.17.0 version I will provide the jira rest 3 version

Note that version 3 of the Jira Cloud platform REST API is in beta. All the endpoints from the version 2 API are available. However, they are under development and may change.May make sense to wait till its stable.
