Thanks for your reply. In the terminal I can see the following lines: I tried to check the permissions of this download.bin file, but couldn't locate it so far. Also the path to this file doesn't look familiar to me. Do you think this is related to the problem of the circular texture mapping or not being able to drag and drop like it is shown in the video you mentioned? |

To be honest, I have no idea what isn't working. We both have Ubuntu 24.04 and the same 0.9. And after I've dragged a material (e.g. asphalt-0-3) onto the cube, there is also a material in this cloud folder (asphalt-0-3-.arm). |

I hope that you can somehow use the two versions for yourself at the moment. |

I tried to import a .blend file from polyhaven into ArmorPaint-0.9, but that made the application unresponsive using 100% of cpu. Probably my hardware environment with dual gpu causes ArmorPaint to be this unstable, but this is only a wild guess so far. At least in the past I had some difficulties with the dual gpus in combination with Linux, although e.g. blender is running fine.
ArmorPaint is definitely worth that, thank you. |

The cloud is helpful, but not absolutely necessary. You can simply download something from polyhaven and use it.
Or you use the cloud in 1.0 alpha and then you always have the .arm files of the materials used on your computer. You could probably just import them into 0.9.
I think it's great that you don't let the problems put you off and keep going.
