Which YAML schema does Ansible use?

https://github.com/ansible/ansible-documentation/blob/devel/docs/docsite/rst/reference_appendices/YAMLSyntax.rst is unfortunately silent on this.

Compare https://yaml.org/spec/1.2.2/#chapter-10-recommended-schemas with a number of recommended schemata from the spec, though I have no idea whether python3-yaml implements all of them, does that correctly, and not which one Ansible uses (or if it even defines its own) or how that is selected.

… or if it uses a schema in which Norway is false. (Funnily, this is not mentioned in the spec…)

Ansible uses pyyaml, which uses the YAML1.1 spec (yes, norway is false) and the 'failsafe' schema, which i believe translates to yaml.org.2002

If you look at the bottom of the YAML Syntax page, in seealso you'll see that we specify that we use pyyaml and the 1.1 spec.

I admit that that is probably the more relevant information actually.

You don't need me, you can open a pull request and update the documentation, that is why this repo exists. If I created an update it would go through the same process you would.
