Horizontal scrolling makes the page unresponsive in Chrome

UI gets stuck when I scroll horizontally and makes the page unresponsive in Chrome. I am using 4.10.0 version of UI-Grid. My table has 10 columns and the data is limited to 50 rows per page.

I have already tried setting "columnVirtualizationThreshold: $scope.columns.length", but this didn't resolve the issue.
Any help on resolving this is much appreciated.
