Sort Ascending/Descending does not work

No matter what I've tried, the columns do not sort ascending/descending. Nothing happens when I click on drop-down arrow next to the column to then Ascending or Descending. On another note, the "hide column" does work. Please help.

Update: I got sort to work for non-date columns. However for dates the sort sorts months correctly, but not the date. The dates within the month are random. Any ideas?

Found the issue. It's related to date parsing.
