Unable to preventDefault inside passive event listener invocation

I'm using this vendor[1] to set all event as passive event. Ui-grid work more fast than early and fine like always, but i get this error on console:

I'm searching some idea to avoid it.

Setting the scroll event with passive: true, you declare that this event will never call an event.preventDefault() and it make the grid realy faster and responsive. But it invoke a warning for each preventDefault that is called.

I have tryed to wrap the event.preventDefault() calls between try/catch structure but nothing is changed.

using return false instead, to me works all correctly.

Note that this is behavior is documented in the default-passive-events README. It looks like there isn't a way to hide these evens and they aren't true errors, which may be why your try/catch isn't working.
