[Bug]: Does not switch between Dark mode and light mode. When app dark mode preference is set to system default

What happened?

When the app's dark mode preference is set to system default. Then, when switching to dark mode from the notification panel, it does not toggle between the two modes.

@nadimakhtar97 This is working as expected on the latest version of the codebase. Are you sure you are testing on the latest version? Also, can you reproduce it on a real device (and not the emulator)?

Hello @SimonMarquis,

I observed this issue on the emulator. The video attached on the issue is of an emulator.
But after your concern about the emulator. I checked this issue with the latest codebase and a real device.
Please check the video below on a real device. This issue still reproduces.
