I'm really enjoying using Scopy to create documentation for student laboratories, but I'm frustrated that the print function doesn't look more clean and professional

Describe the solution you'd like
Some specific requests:

  • Move the current time and sampling rate info so that it doesn't overlap with the graticule, perhaps to above it and left as on the screen
  • Include the volts/div for both channels as text perhaps immediately below the graticule: while there is a scale on the LHS, it only applies to the active channel, and if the two channels have different scales there is no way of telling.

Other small enhancements that could greatly increase my pleasure when using the scope

  • Put a box around the graticule
  • Put, perhaps, small triangles below or to the right of cursors or the trigger level and position
  • Make printing cursors cursors and/or trigger optional
  • Add scales to the horizontal and vertical centre lines
  • Consider using linewidth rather than dots to make things clearer on the graticule - it's a printer and can handle thin lines.
  • Add a frame
  • Make the background grid optional, showing just the centre horizontal and vertical lines
  • Offer a black and white printing option that puts one trace in black, and the other in grey or dotted (see example)

I've attached a couple of screen shots from a Tek scope manual to show the kind of effect I'd like to see: something that looks clean in a document, which is what I'm using the print function for.
