I run lightningd (the client in c). does it also work with that or is lnd mandatory?
It should be easy to make it work with nearly every node, or?
Are there plans for that?

I don't believe c-lightning has an API for retrieving the graph state. I'd be happy to add additional support if there is a way to to retrieve the graph state. Same for eclair.
see- thanks.
as there is a shell there is a way. I give docker lnd a chance thans. should be possible to run one with lnd and another with clighting on top of the same bitcoind. If it works I'll try the ightning-viz- so far the visualization which looks the most nice and neat - even if I don't understand how the filters work.
