Some translations are not very accurate ("my soul's release forlorn", "Revolution is a call to make a home"), but definitely more artistic ... Just compare with the original non-artistic translation. “What fate befalls this head of mine today?” is more accurately "What's in my mind now that I'm losing my head today?"
