# Contributing to Boost Libraries Zig Build System

## Getting Started

1. Ensure you have [Zig](https://ziglang.org/download) v0.14.0 or master installed.

## Development Options

### Build Configuration Options

- `-Dtarget`: Specify CPU architecture, OS, and ABI
- `-Dcpu`: Target CPU features
- `-Doptimize`: Control performance, safety, or binary size
- Library-specific flags (e.g., `-Dcontext`, `-Djson`)
- `-Dshared`: Build as shared library

## Updating Dependencies

1. Modify `update_zon.zig`
2. Update Boost version or URLs
3. Run:
   
```console
zig run -fsingle-threaded update_zon.zig
```

## Submitting Contributions

1. Fork the repository
2. Create a feature branch
3. Make your changes
4. Ensure all tests pass
5. Submit a pull request
