Description of the bug

When I try to use the filters on the Apple News Admin page, the SQL query is so slow that it doesn't succeed.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. In the WordPress Admin, click on "Articles" under the "Apple News" admin option.
  2. Click the dropdown to filter by publish.

Additional Information

The database is quite large. The posts table has 15736019 rows.
