This is generated during mapping evaluation. During online mapping, we first transform PV images into a common BEV space and BEV features, and decode that into vectorized maps. What we are doing here is simply saving the intermediate BEV features for later trajectory prediction enhancement, in addition to the originally output vectorized maps.
