With the "setup" above, if I change the quantity of the "main configurable" product, unit prices of the option lines are reset to their pricelist/catalog price.
This is a "standard" onchange in Odoo but it's very disappointing when configuring options.
Imagine you create an offer for 1 configurable product and change manually the unit prices of the options (not to have too many products). You send this quotation to the customer. The customer tells you that finally he wants 3 configurable products. Naively, you change the main quantity to 3 without taking care of the unit price (because you are not an Odooer (yet 😄 )).
BTW, not sure on how to "fix" or mitigate this without breaking standard computations 😟
