Works only in home and menus - chromecast

I have a Chromecast with remote running Android 12.
So the grabber works only in home screen and all menus in all apps, but as soon as i start any video the led strips gose to black until i exit back out. So i guess something is preventing the app from grabbing the video.

I tired all video apps i have, like YouTube, SmartTube, Plex, Jillyfin, and many IPTV apps, all does the same behavior.

Tested the grabber on my android phone (galaxy s20 with android 13), it works flawlessly. Any idea how to fix this for the chromelcast.

Note, i also tested with my friend's Mi Box S gen 2, he got same issue.
