Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I usually have a set of the same channels open on a particular server that I frequent. I find myself clicking on a channel to navigate to and then realizing I already had it open in a different tab. Now I have 2 tabs with the same channel and none with the other channel I was on.
Describe the solution you'd like
A setting to turn on and off that will check if an open tab already has the channel open that you clicked on. Instead of opening a new tab with that channel, it'd just open that other tab.
Describe alternatives you've considered
You could instead approach it more as "locking" certain tabs. So when you open a new channel on a locked tab it will open that in a new tab instead of navigating within that tab. Different solution to a different problem, but I feel like I could work with that. Could be 2 seperate settings.
