Can't pause Youtube video using space bar with new Chrome update

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, but with the new Chrome update, whenever I want to pause a video using the space bar, it doesn't do it, I need to manually click on the video to pause it.
Any solution ?

Does youtube's default k shortcut for toggling play/pause work?

I've noticed play not working 100% myself but wasn't sure what the issue was.

Create a new browser profile and install only one userscript extension then the latest version of this script, and see if it works.
