Error in documentation for creating tax rates

The documentation for createTaxRates contains the following lines:

$taxComponent = new XeroAPI\XeroPHP\Models\Accounting\TaxComponent;
$taxComponent->setName('State Tax');
$taxComponent->setRate(2.25);
$taxComponent = [];
array_push($taxComponents, $taxComponent);

This seems to create an object and then overwrite it by turning it into an empty array. Should that be $taxComponents = []; with an s on the end?
