EGL2 doesn't detect Fortnite install, attempts to "update" when pointed to correct folder.

My game is installed at E:\Games\Fortnite. I point the launcher there but it attempts to reinstall the entire game.

The issue I believe is that it's trying to detect a compressed install (most likely incase the config file corrupts) assuming you're pointing it to the game downloaded from the Epic Games Launcher.
If you did, try changing the compression method to "Decompressed" and see if that changes anything.
