Self-Consumption and Consumption sensors???

The online SE data includes consumption info.
I don't see consumption-related sensors in SE-modbus-multi

AFAIK self consumption is <AC Production> - <AC Grid Export>
and consumption is <self consumption> + <AC Grid Import>, ie <AC Production> + <AC Grid Import> - <AC Grid Export>

but don't have the experience with HA coding to know how to implement this as part of solaredge-modbus-multi.

Any help much appreciated! (I need these additional "raw" calculated sensors, to feed into a new rolling peak load / peak grid import monitor.)

@MrPeteH there are template sensors on the wiki here: https://github.com/WillCodeForCats/solaredge-modbus-multi/wiki/Template-Sensors-for-Power-and-Energy. Just add these to your configuration.yaml and restart HA.

I must be confused at a pretty basic level. Yes I saw those sensors. But the content of that page doesn't match the title!

• Title: "Sensors for Power and Energy"
• Content: sensors are ALL for Power. None for Energy

I assume there are lots of smarts in the Energy dashboard to do conversions from Watts to kWh etc.

But I actually need Energy sensors to feed into some rolling energy usage stats.

Has nobody actually created Energy sensors for this?

@MrPeteH yes, I think many people are using the energy dashboard through this integration. Here's mine.

The grid ones are easy enough since they are exposed directly by the inverter.
If you don't have a battery, the generated solar is also easy from sensor.solaredge_i1_ac_energy_kwh. But if you do have a battery you need some template sensors to split the solar / battery power and hence energy apart. If you add the power sensors as documented in the wiki, and then add integrate them using the "integration" integration, then you get energy.

On the subject, sort of.
Anyone else that have noticed that house consumption, AC Production - AC Grid Export gets lower on high AC Production?
I do have a Shelly 3EM measuring the house, see attached screen shots.

Energy values do match much better i.e. AC Production W seems to be too low on high production?
