Quantify the proportion of cell types in a tissue or region of interest

As a researcher, I would like to be able to perform a cell compositional analysis on a tissue or region of interest from single cell gene expression data whereby I quantify the proportion of cells in a tissue or region of interest. The quantified proportion of cell types would then be compared to other experimental conditions to develop hypothesis of how certain cell types change between experimental conditions.
