firefox installed via snap cannot access local documentation

We have a work-around which is what this issue is to describe, but unfortunately if you have installed binary ninja on a recent Ubuntu into /opt you will not be able to access the offline documentation.

We could potentially detect such a situation and redirect to the online documents but that won't be helpful for offline users. Not sure the long-term fix here, but for now we can at least document it.

What about just spawning a localhost http server on a random available port and then opening it in the browser automatically

The question there is how to manage when the server is listening vs not

I don't think it's worth the headache. Now you have to also deal with firewalls. I really think the right answer is to have people not install outside of user folders unless they want to work-around it with a non-snap install.

Firewalls shouldn't usually be an issue if you're just doing 127.0.0.1, it would be an issue if you're doing 0.0.0.0.
