What should we add?
#632 covered the addition of metpy.calc.thermo.lifted_index to MetPy. This issue requests the addition of "Most Unstable Lifted Index", which appears to be commonly abbreviated as MULI. For example, SPC's mesoanalysis plots MULI, but I can't find the equation for it. GEMPAK has 4LFTX defined as Best (4-layer) lifted index within its grib tables, so I am unsure if SPC is just using that variable or what :) I've got some emails out to contacts to see if a formal reference / equation can be hammered down for consideration for inclusion into MetPy. I'm sure others watching here may know this answer as well.
