[NFS Undercover] massive stuttering

yes I am on potato pc. yes I've reduced the shadows to the default in the settings ini and set simrate to 0 just in case. nevertheless mere presence of scripts folder in the game directory causes MASSIVE frametime drops. I've ran several tests playing the same race over and over with generic fix on and off and whenever it's on frametime just craps itself as I do hard turns, bypass civilian cars, start new races and especially when I drive under bridges and enter shadows they drop underneath. stutters remain even if I completely disable shadows or cut them to 512 resolution but if I'm playing without generic fix it runs smoothly at max settings with stable 16.6ms (there are occasional drops as expected of black box era nfs but it's nowhere near as bad). is there a fix to this? I just want to have nice xbox icons 🙏 cheers
