Request: Customising output format #32
Comments
I have those options on the add-on available but when I go to download a post, I get this output There may be a misunderstanding, I wanted to customise the same way gallery-dl allows (and as seen in joelpeapen's screenshot). I want to be able to add hyphens in between the date & period's for the time. & maybe get the smaller post ID instead of that long one |
Just want to say this is a godsend. I really love the customizing of the file name. Just today, Insta Media Downloader I've been using that one for years so when I have an organized folder of all files with a structured filename format (i.e., username posts YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM), I can't just use any other downloader that spits out different filenames that I would manually have to edit lest the folder be completely disorganized. Now with this extension, I can maintain the same filename format I've had for years. Thank you so much for this and hopefully this will live long into the future! |
Allow setting our own naming pattern
e.g.

I prefer to have the datetime at the beginning followed by the ID & then username, with separators of my chosing to make it more readable. It also follows the naming pattern I've used with gallery-dl.
