Physik Instrumente - Retrieve Units from Controller?

It would be nice to see if we could retrieve the units from the controller for Physik Instrumente stages. Would need to look at the manual, but the units for the E.709 piezo are by default not microns.

The command is PUN? or qPUN in the GCS DLL (https://www.le.infn.it/~chiodini/allow_listing/pi/Manuals/PIGCS_2_0_DLL_SM151E210.pdf). However, it's not available on all PI stages. I think you can assume units are in mm if the stage returns error 2 - unknown command.
