The leaf particles which fall from trees in autumn glow at full luminosity like embers. As I understand it, complimentary shaders makes tinted sprites glow by default. I don't know how these things work, but I'm assuming there's a way to tell the shader to not apply this glowing behavior to the leaf particles.
