PageView event

Given this code, I am still not sure how to fix the issue with pageview.

What is happening in our app is we are able to get the Google Universal Analytics to fire, but the pageview is always the initial page's url.

We have attempted to set dom.url, dom.pathname, and pretty much everything we can think of with utag_data, but no luck.

There is this link that talks about setting a custom variable, but we have had no luck with that either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The dom.* variables are typically recalculated during each utag.view/link execution so I suspect it's overwriting the ones you are setting. As the link you've provided suggests, you'll need to manually set another variable that represents the Virtual Page URL and then ensure you send that in your utag.view payload.
Say for instance you send the Virtual page name as the key "virtual_page_name" then you should trigger the following:

utag.view({
   virtual_page_name: "/my/virtual/page/url" // etc
});

The within Tealium IQ you would need to map the "virtual_page_name" variable to the "page" destination in your GUA tag. More information on GUA mappings can be found here:
