Is this project maintained?

I have Nuxt UI for my recently started project, and it has a rich table component powered by Tanstack Table. Also I've been thinking on relying on the Table for some of my custom components.

However, the state of Issues for the last ~year doesn't look great, and project activity is not optimistic either.

Would you say this project is worth heavily relying on and investing some dev time?

I would say its still maintained however active development seems to have slowed.
I know @KevinVandy was doing a lot of work for a potential v9 release but I'm not sure where that stands at this point.

I would say if you're fine with the current implementation and features then you should be fine using it for future projects.
Its still one of the most used table libraries so it isn't going away any time soon.

I do wish there was more active development towards a v9 release but that is the thing about open source projects, everyone expects new features and enhancements but don't want to contribute so the devs get burnt out and things slow down or they move onto other things.

A lot of TanStack effort has been going into Router and Start, hence the lull here. @KevinVandy has also been busy, but should hopefully have some more bandwidth in the near future. Table is relied on by many companies and is definitely not going away.
