we should setup a sitemap.xml for the app at the root path so that google can crawl the site properly and we can get into search results. the robots.txt should be present also.

after creating the sitemap, log into the google search console (tnris.twdb google acct) and add the app as a new property. you can specifically direct them to the sitemap.xml path also.
