Hi, Thanks for your interest in this tool. I made this to help me automate a workflow for importing FBX into Houdini. It's not a Bridge (yet) to seamlessly import to Houdini from Daz. However, I will resume work on updating this tool soon. I have not had time to work on this exclusively and cannot give a date on when to expect any updates at this time. To answer your question about RedShift, I have plans to add a shader converter to this project. I also have a standalone Shader Converter in a separate repo on my Github you may want to checkout and clone yourself to convert shaders. I originally wrote it to become a part of this tool eventually. I hope to get something out very soon. |
Thank you for the quick reply, much appreciated! I noticed you have this standalone tool and I was wondering can it convert FBX shaders? It's always pain in the ass to manually assign complex fbx shaders to redshift.. I guess the DAZ workflow was through fbx so I assume it can convert fbx shaders? |

Hi, That Project is no longer active but the functionality remains with some updates in this current one. Daz2HouNeo. You can find the installer in the releases section of the page or the read me mentions how to install it. If you are having more issues installing please let me know. |
Sorry, this is not an issue exactly but I was wondering if there will ever be redshift support? Im looking for a daz -> houdini bridge that would import all the morphs and everything working.. Would this work for importing everything but then just manually assigning shaders?
