I can still Restore a session in an existing firefox window but suddenly today I can't restore a session to a new window. Neither the right click pull down "Restore (New Window)"or the "Restore in new window" button work. As far as I can tell, everything else works.

I guess this add-on is no longer supported & no one else has any advise. I've tried everything I could thing of to no avail. Sorry to see the passing of what used to be a great add-on.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the addon is no longer supported as it should be because I don't really have time for new features right now but all the functionality that provides right now should work without any issues. I don't really get why it does not work in your case but 99% percent is caused by something related to the configuration of Firefox you have. Because if you do a clean install of the addon on a clean profile it works without any issues. I tested it and should not be a problem.

What I recommend to find out the issues is like this:

  1. Temporary disable all the other addons you have and test if the functionality works.
  2. As expect that it will work, activate other addons one by one and see which one might create certain issues with Session Sync.

The addon is essential for me. If it will ever brake for sure I will update it to fix what does not work, but for the moment the features it provides should work as expected.

Thank you for your advice. I'll try your suggestions once I have enough time to invest in further trouble shooting this. I will post a solution when/if I get it to work again for anyone else will similar issues.

Edit (28 Oct 2022)...At this point I may never find a solution. But if I do, I'll post it.
