It seems like there is a list of supported image formats here to know which content-type to use. However, that list does not include webp, a now popular image file format for the web.
It would probably be nice to also include some other common formats like apng, avif and svg (although this one will need some extra logic since its mime is image/svg+xml, not just image/svg). A list of common image types is available on MDN if that helps
