Here is the error when installing:

sudo apt install ./Downloads/ucsf-chimerax_1.9ubuntu24.04_amd64.deb
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Note, selecting 'ucsf-chimerax' instead of './Downloads/ucsf-chimerax_1.9ubuntu24.04_amd64.deb'
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ucsf-chimerax : Depends: libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

line 308 of mkubuntu.py, maybe the key should read "libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0" instead of "libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0"

Please do not rehost or redistribute ChimeraX. It is against our non commercial license agreement. We are working on a way to allow users to agree to the license the first time they start the program, so it can be redistributed, but that feature is not ready at this time.
