Does the graph already have a clearly labelled x axis? If so, this would probably suffice.

If this is the graph you're referring to then yes. Time (s).

This counter GUI has a well defined x axis too

In that case I don't see the need for an extra display. Unless it is useful on occasion to put "duration" instead of "count length (#)"? Would that ever be more useful?

If you click "start saving" perhaps the time axis could start 'rolling'?

I don't think it would be an essential change, and am happy is we want to close this issue.

I think the rolling time axis is a great idea, and I don't think it is too hard. I need to check how the "rolling time data"is handled in counter logic.
