Concept

Write a grant for 1000 euro to fund speakers for our events. This speaking compensation accompanied with opt in speaker support should focus on supporting speakers who are not highly representated already in our community. Idea from Noa and Jessica

Support required

Support to write and follow up on grant for this.
Support to find speakers, through active outreach, cfp and recommendations

Next steps

After the pycon month!

Do we have a link for this grant?
I've written this kind of proposal in the past
It wasn't accepted tho, but I might bring some useful perspective, would be happy to help!

@marimeireles currently just an idea, probably we would send it to the PSV. All input welcome ❤️ likely not to be picked up though until after April (just fyi)
