Hi everyone,

I have reached the final step of my project which is using a NodeMCU ESP32 to control 5x SK9822 LED-Strips. I am using several pinouts for DATA and CLK, all designed on a custom made PCB-Board. The hardware (5 different SK9822 strips) is installed and I would like to control them via multiple segments. For segment 1 everything went smooth and the strip is working fine. Unfortunately, I have problems setting up my other segments. The option to choose another APA102 is not available. See Screenshot:

I already looked up the information that the ESP32 should be capable of controlling all 5 APA102-Strips and the limitation should be firmware wise only. As my whole setup is reliant on using 5x APA102 strips and I already put a lot of time, effort and money in this project, I would like to know if someone could help me modifying the WLED code or help me finding another solution. I am not a coder, but I do have PlatformIO etc. installed and would be able to follow instructions.

I also found the official online compiler for adding usermods to WLED, but this one does not include multiple APA102 strips.

The goal is to use the strips as Ambilight version for my TV and the strips themselves are positioned on several shelfs. Therefore, an independent setup is necessary.

I am urgently looking for help. Thank you in advance.

Chris
