Looking at your logs, the 404 error is clear: the base URL https://bedrock-mantle.us-east-1.api.aws/v1 is not a valid AWS Bedrock endpoint. The correct base URL for the AWS Bedrock Runtime API is typically:

• https://bedrock-runtime.{region}.amazonaws.com (for model inference)
• or https://bedrock.{region}.amazonaws.com (for service-level operations)

In your case, using bedrock-mantle (likely a typo or incorrect service name) causes the 404.

What to check:

• In your custom provider configuration, update the Base URL to https://bedrock-runtime.us-east-1.amazonaws.com (without the /v1 path – the SDK handles that automatically).
• Ensure you have the correct AWS credentials (access key + secret key) configured in the provider settings.
• Make sure your IAM user/role has bedrock:InvokeModel permission for the anthropic.claude-haiku-4-5 model.

Relevant code:

• The custom provider adapter uses pi-ai's registerProvider() and passes the base URL directly to the API client. The 404 originates from the AWS side, not from Open CoDesign.
